What happened to Chyna? She went from a nice, happy, friendly girl selling cell phones when she first met HHH, to one of the top woman in WWE, to a drug user, going to jail for beating up her x-boyfriend, porn star wanna be girl. Talk about a change.
I didn't know her x-boyfriend was X-Pac (Shawn Waltman). Just saw her on Howard Stern. She went to jail for beating up her then boyfriend, and she enjoys doing coke, she said to Howard if there was a line of cocaine in front of her now she'd do it. She did that awful porno video where Howard said she had 6 nice zits on here butt, lol. She was wearing a bandana looking like she was straight out of a Cheech and Chong movie, she was at least topless and had on some nice knee high black boots though. What happened to her?

No clue... it's sad really...
Currently she's on The Surreal Life, which airs on VH1. What that is, if you haven't seen it, is where they have a whole bunch of celebrities that live in the same house. I don't really know much about it, because I haven't really watched or had time to watch it, but a couple of the other people in the house are Vern Troyer (Mini-Me from Austin Powers), Jordan Knight, and Da Brat. There are some others, but those are all I remember.

Having all that fame and money that WWE brought to her then to have that massive ego deflated when her contract was not renewed really hit her hard. Without a doubt this is the saddest story in wrestling today. I hope someone can get her into re-hab and have major counselling because reading her book she sounds like she has major issues from her past that needs to be dealt with. Good luck to Joanie i really hope she can make it through because i thought she was extremely talented and don't want her to live the rest of her life like this.

Chyna has blown it..as far as i'm concerned! She was doing well in WWF etc and then after she left, it seems like she was gone down hill. And i'm glad X-Pac got out of the relationship when he did. Chyna is so desperate to be recognised again and to have that fame she keeps appearing on talk shows, reality tv shows, done her own Porn movie (Which isn't pretty at all) and even stripped on the Howard Stern Show! I mean, how low and desperate can you get!

Although some guys I know think Chyna is a man personally I think she just has her on/off days like everyone else.
Though recently she's been on a real downer as of late. Shame really, as she had the look of a female pro-wrestler and could wrestle somewhat.

And yeah her bio's on the AWA website, but then again like 3/4 of the talent on that website, were put there to spark interest because they've "discussed" coming in. (Dale Gagne's really freakin' weird man). Anyways, last I heard, Joanie's cleaning up her act and starting to hit the gym again. I honestly would LOVE to see a comeback, she's only in her early/mid 30s, it's definatly possible. I hate to admit it, but I think the downward spiral started with Hunter cheating on her w/ Steph. Joanie went on record saying, "working in that environment with those 2 was like working with a knife in your stomach". Then she quit WWF, and the rest is history. I hope she's doing better and that she stays (if she is) clean. Speaking from personal experience, it's a biotch fighting alcholism and drugs, but if you have the right set of mind, you can beat those demons. Poor Waltman though, he had to feel her wrath when she was off the wagon, and I can imagine looking at him must've kept reminding her of Hunter. |

Well that's cool, it sounds like she's trying to go in the right direction again. She was good for wrestling back then.
Anybody know if she's still with Sean Waltham (X-Pac) and if he's been a good influence on her from beginning to end?
I guess Sean and Triple H aren't friends anymore ever since Sean dated Chyna?

(She got messed up late one night while Sean & his kids were visiting her, and she kicked his ass right in front of his kids lol). That's the last time they've seen eachother (or spoken too, I imagine). But even when Sean was w/ her, Hunter had no problem with it. Sean & Hunter are still good friends, as the 2 have discussed a possible Xpac return, but nothing's official. |

Lol, that's crazy about Sean and Joanie. I guess I don't blame him for leaving then, he has taken a lot it sounds like throughout their relationship. Never do stuff in front of kids I say. Respect.
That's pretty cool that Hunter and Sean are still friends, I didn't know that.

Try Wrestling Information Archive or Obsessed With Wrestling.com for information. Also the NJPW US website which is where I found out about Joanie. She has been working for NJPW USA IIRC.
Isn't Dale related to Verne Gagne?. Apparently the AWA World Title is still a prestigious belt in Japan, does it have any real lineage to the old AWA?.

I watched Joanie on "The Surreal Life", and it was in fact "Surreal". It was strange seeing her that way, when I'd grown to love and respect her on so many different levels while she was in the WWE. I bought her book, and was just amazed at how far she had come from such a different/horrible past. When I found out that Triple H had cheated on her with Steph, I'd lost a lot of respect for Mr. Levesque. Yeah, love knows no boundaries, blah blah blah, but there's a thing called respect. If he'd had any respect for Joanie, he would've broken it off with her to be with Steph. It hurts to be dumped, but it's worse to be cheated on (ask Matt Hardy, I guess). Last I heard, Joanie is clean and free of drugs and alcohol, and is working on getting back into some real shape. I have my hopes up that she will make a return to the WWE, because I do certainly miss her.
