Man, what is goin' on with the WWE?! I heard about it through an e-mail, confirmed it on WWE.com, and got the details from Wrestlezone.com...
PWInsider.com reports that Christian has been miserable in WWE for quite a while, and it only got worse when he was moved to the SmackDown roster.
His quitting is not a work or storyline, however knowing WWE's recent booking style, it could be turned into a storyline later on. As previously noted, he did not sign the new contract that WWE offered him. Christian felt that WWE should have offered him more money for what he's been putting up with, and has told friends he will give WWE a chance write him out of storylines.
Christian has also told friends that he had a big run and saved his money, and is in a position where he can afford to quit the company. It's somewhat like the what happened with Chris Jericho, who has almost completely separated himself from pro wrestling.
Something interesting to note is that Christian lives in Florida, which is where TNA tapes all their shows and runs their PPVs. This would allow for a situation similar to Scott Hall or Kevin Nash's, where he can take the quick drive up to Orlando once or twice a week to wrestle, then go back home to be with his family.

Excellent...
Christian had been misused for quite some time, and I hope to see him pop up in RoH and TNA soon, as he is exempt from the 90 day inactivity clause with his contract simply running out.

tna is just a gloryfied indy. TNA may not be as big as WWE, but considering the fact that they've only been around for three years and they've got a regularly scheduled televised show, I'd say there a tad bit better than any "glorified" Indy promotion. Christian going over to that organization would do loads for both parties involved. I mean, we all know how great Christian can be in the ring with the right talent. I think he'd fit right in as an X-Division competitor, and would probably make a decent Heavyweight champ. I'm behind him whatever he decides to do.

I agree with you there, Wrestling Chick, but I think Triple C would be better suited to feuding with Rhino or someone(as opposed to the X-Division). An angle with Jeff Hardy could be great, as they already have history, and work well together.
Thinking about it, he could form a team with Rhino, as Rhino was originally brought in as E+C's muscle.

Christian WILL still appear at Taboo Tuesday if he is voted into the match. Just to clear that up for you.

I will miss the leader of the peepulation. Hopefully, he will go to TNA, that would be great.

Interesting, surprised he turned down the money because he wasn't happy with his role with the WWE, but definitly give him respect for it. He seemed to have a lot of fans, and the fans even thought he should of been pushed harder.
I think he would be a great fit in TNA though, same with Jericho. Those 2 are good at being cocky and comical at the same time. Christian would look good and would be way better suited in TNA. Hope he goes there.

Major Points Why Christian didn't resign with the WWE
Source: PWS Journalist Ryan Clark. 11/08/2005
One major point to bring up here is also a reason Christian did not resign with WWE. The main reason he didn't sign was because of the lack of a push he was getting despite the fact that he had gotten himself over with the crowd in a major way. However, another big reason is because Christian is currently in negotiations for a significant part (what is being reported as a fifth or sixth lead role) in a major movie to be produced by New Line in February. Christian definitely wants the freedom to take this role. He also reportedly wants some free time where he can study acting and prepare for the role. This would be almost impossible to do while still taking part in a full time WWE schedule.
