What happened to Brock Lesner and the WWE?
I actually thought he was coming back, all that hype and talk, then they had a few meetings. I thought it was a matter of time. Now we hear nothing. Anybody know why it didn't work out?

It was all a great balls-up by WWE. First they binned him, then negotiatiations began for a new contract. They offered him under the rate that he should have got legally, so he took them to court and won! It was all due to the WWE not letting him compete (due to no-compete clause) after he left the NFL, as they stated him working elsewhere would cause problems with them losing money after their investment.
But, when they offered him less money he had iron-clad proof that WWE didn't think he was worth that anymore. WWE literally gave him his evidence against them. If they'd given him the correct money it wouldn't have happened.
Brock Lesnar is now in Japan and has just recently won the IWGP title. He also calls his finisher The Verdict as a dig about his court case as he can't use F5 as that name is trademarked.

Thats the story in a nutshell.
However one intresting side note. There's a conspiricy theroy doing the rounds that IWPG has some sort of Secret Deal with WWE.
Because Lesner and other former WWE employers are being pushed as just that egsactly, former WWE Employers who have come to japan. The last PPV Event IWPG did was promoted as IWPG vs WWE.
So people are kind fo woundering given how protective WWE has become of there trademarks recently.

Brock is now wrestling in Japan for 'New Japan' and is their champ... he won in court a case meaning he can wrestle outside USA (and maybe back in the U.S?) despite the clause WWE out in his contract... they did nagosite a new one with him but in the end it was way way way less money then he was on before so he said no and went on with the court case and won
