I have just been resently watchin the film the longest yard which by the way is an awsome film and i discovered that 3 wrestlers were cast in this film(SCSA, Kevin Nash and goldberg). This got me thinking is this going to be the direction of all wrestlers when they reach there sell by date. Are we going to see john cena as the evil super villian in the next james bond film. What do you all think is this the way that all ex-wrestlers are going to turn and will we ever see them again in the ring once they have seen the bright lights of hollywood Your thoughts?

Lol, good one.
First off I like seeing Wrestlers in Movies. Also this is nothing new, but "Active" Wrestlers have been in movies even during their prime. So there has always been a mix of old and newer Wrestlers in movies which I think is cool. Plus once the body (unfortunitly) might not be the same, why not do movies if they can and are good enough.
Wrestlers in their Prime (or close to it) who were in Movies:
Hulk Hogan Roddy Piper Jesse Ventura Andre the Giant the Rock

Are we going to see john cena as the evil super villian in the next james bond film. Cena has actually already done or will be doing (not sure which) some acting. The WWE is (has?) started it's own movie type section thing in the company. It will be producing 3 films. SCSA will be in one of them and John Cena is set to star in another called 'The Marine'.

I doubt that. I don't think he does, but that's you're opinion and this is mine, lol. When he did that commercial promoting WM21 he did a good job, so I think he'll do a good job in this movie. Here's a link to a review page on The Marine. It's still in post production, so there's not too much info, but it's something. www.imdb.com/title/tt0419946/

I'm right with ya, Amber. John's definitely got some developing acting abilities, and I can't wait to see 'The Marine'. Triple H did his thing in 'Blade: Trinity', and that movie was just awesome. I also saw Austin in 'The Longest Yard', and was all excited until he called Nelly the N-word (that killed his role for me, and I cheered my head off when he got taken out during the football game b/t the guards and convicts). Yeah, I know it's only a role, but still...hit a nerve for me. Nash was freakin' hilarious!!!! "Sportsmanship, try it!" OMG...LMAO! Goldberg was funny, too...but I still don't like him as a wrestler. Back on subject, wrestlers have experience as acting just in the fact that they're sports-entertainers, and they have to be able to connect with the audience. Some do it better than others, obviously, but they're all actors nonetheless. I'd like to see Shawn Michaels in a movie...or Edge...and isn't Mark Copani (formerly known as Muhammad Hassan) goin' into acting? I think he's gonna be a great star...one day...in the far future...LOL.

He's beat you to it! www.imdb.com/title/tt0144964/If you can call it acting... Best wrestler in a film for me is John Carpenter's 'They Live'. Roddy Piper is absolutely excellent in it and the DVD has a really good commentary track with Piper and Carpenter.

Well... I've read Edge's autobiography, which is great by the way, he's one of the funniest people ever! I actually started reading it again yesterday, but either he didn't mention the movie or I just completely forgot because I didn't know anything about it. I bet I just completely forgot. That seems to happen a lot with me, lol.

Nice, the Hot Rod did some interesting movies you could say. I saw some of them a long while ago, forget what "They Live" was like. Is that better than his "Hell Comes to Frogtown"? Lol, that was a good/interesting one with Piper in it, wouldn't mind seeing it again.
