I think everybody has pretty much listed who I would say. However, I'm just gonna offer reasons for my picks. I'll try to keep the list short...
.) Vince McMahon: Forget the fact that his father is already in the Hall of Fame. VKM is truly a pioneer in the wrestling industry. He took a territorial WWWF, and made it into an internationally-known, billion-dollar media conglomerate. Thanks to Vince, we were able to witness moments in wrestling history that I doubt would've happened without him at the helm. The list is too long, but we all know (whether we like him or not) that VKM has done more for this business than anybody ever has, or IMO, ever will.
.) Undertaker: despite how biased I am towards him, I think that the facts are obvious. Mark Callaway been with the WWE *uninterrupted* for 15 years; he has the most successful *gimmick* in the WWE; and, he has been a part of some of the most unique "First-Ever" matches in the WWE. That alone makes him an automatic shoo-in for the Hall of Fame.
.) Triple H: the man has come so far since his WCW days of Terra Ryzing (possibly the corniest name EVER...). He's a multiple-time World champion, tag-team champion, Intercontinental champion, European champion, King of the Ring...his list of accolades is as long as anybody's. He's got a true passion for what he does, and it shows night in and night out as he gives his all for the business that has made him so successful.
.) Ric Flair: It's the "Nature Boy". A Hall of Fame is not complete without the 16-time World Heavyweight champion. A career spanning three decades, having held nearly every major title in every major organization, and just a character that will forever hold a special place in the hearts of wrestling fans, old and new alike.
.) Kurt Angle: The simple fact that he is the only Olympic Gold Medalist to ever wrestle for the WWE. He's done so much in the short time that he's been with the company, and just has so much talent, both as a heel and a face. He can wrestle anybody, and make that person look like gold. It'll be a sad day when he retires, IMO, because his matches are always five-star in my book.
.) Chris Benoit: Trained in the Dungeon, wrestled across the world, and is probably the most technically sound wrestler in the WWE. He's never been about talkin' on the microphone, but that doesn't detract from the fact that he is an amazing, talented, capable sports-entertainer.
.) Trish Stratus: She started as plain T&A, and look how far she's come since 2000. Yeah, she's a gorgeous woman, but her abilities in the ring are what make her stand out as a possible Hall of Fame candidate. She's had great matches with nearly every female that has stepped into the ring the past three years, and can still get it done.
.) Mick Foley: Like Ric Flair, you can't have a complete Hall of Fame without the most hardcore wrestler ever. Whatever Vince handed to him, he made into absolute magic. Who can forget "This is Your Life" with the Rock, or the debut of Mr. Socko...or goin' further back, his feuds with guys like Austin, 'Taker, Triple H, and even the youngster Randy Orton. Mick's a great guy, and I'm lookin' forward to the day when he's inducted.
.) Shawn Michaels: It's kind of hard to believe that he's been in the business for 21 years already. Much like HHH, Michaels is very dedicated to the wrestling business. He knows what he's doin' in the ring, and can make *anybody* look good (look at his match with Hogan at Summerslam). He's priceless on the microphone, both as a heel and face, and is an amazing person overall.
.) Paul Heyman & Eric Bischoff: They helped to shape wrestling into what it is today as well. Paul with ECW, Eric with WCW...they both did what they had to do to help their organizations grow, and contributed to many priceless moments in wrestling history. I can remember watching ECW randomly, and seein' those guys do things I didn't think were physically possible. I can remember watching WCW passionately, and solidifying my passion as a wrestling fan.
Okay, that's it...it'd be great to see all of those people eventually inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, because they all honestly deserve it.
