After Hogans last run. he put over rock, taker, angle, lesnar all within few months.
Shawn seems to lose to everybody now. Even that davari.
But losing a legends match to someone that old and nowhere near as good a wrestler, is pointless as hogan will disappear once that T.V show goes.

I would love to see "The HeartBreak Kid" defeat "The Hulkster" at Summerslam purely because I am a huge Michaels fan and also it would be nice to see Hogan lose a few times. I think it's safe to say, that HBK and Hogan are both in the same league. They have made alot of accomplishments in their careers and both live up to the name as "Legend"

I believe Shawn should win as well. IMO, he's the better wrestler and it would be pointless to have Hogan win. Hogan has beat enough guys in his career, which is pretty much over by now. It's not like he's going to become a long-time member of the RAW roster like Shawn is. He's here for this stint, which is great, but I think it'd be a load of BS if he wins.

Well the only time I saw or thought Hogan "putting over" but what I call it was "passing the torch" was the Rock. The Rock deserved to have the torch passed to him from Hogan. The Rock was really strong in the WWE and accomplished a lot (I liked the Rock), but soon after left for Hollywood.
Hogan will always be number 1 in the WWE and never looked upon to job for another Wrestler, that's not what he's there for (never has been), Hulkamania will always be elite and I think should be (except in the Rocks case). At least their not giving him the Heavyweight belt which it soulds like all of you wouldn't be happy with. You never know (he and Vince don't either) when it will be Hogan's last match and you know he wouldn't/shouldn't go out with a loss.
I still think Hogan and HBK would of been a lot better as Tag-Team Champions, it was cool seeing them in the ring together.
So basically once HBK loses to Hogan, they should give HBK a title shot and make him the Heavyweight Champion, sound good?

So basically once HBK loses to Hogan, they should give HBK a title shot and make him the Heavyweight Champion, sound good? I agree about them being tag-team champions together, but I still don't like the idea of HBK losing to Hogan. It could really possibly hurt his career and it being so late in his career I don't know if he'd bounce back. I would think he would, but it's possible that he wouldn't. People might even start to say he's a has-been which isn't true. That's not the way I'd want to end my career. Not that I'm saying HBK is planning on ending his, but if by some odd chance it went downhill from here for him, it could happen. And that would be a shame. However, no matter what happens, Hogan will always be considered #1, elite as you put it. He couild lose and he could win and he'd still have the Hulkamaniacs by his side. So that's why I think it wouldn't matter so much if he lost. HBK still has to get in the ring every week and face all the fans. Hogan doesn't. Maybe I'm being a bit over-the-top here, but that's how I see it right now.
