Matt Hardy has turned down WWE's offer to return. Matt was seriously thinking about returning but with all the recent releases including his good friend Shannon Moore Matt has decided against it. We should have more on this very shortly but look for Matt to debut for TNA next Sunday at there No Surrender PPV.
Brock Lesnar did not sign a WWE contract yesterday but all indications are that he will be back shortly.

I give Matt respect for not selling out to WWE for money. I don't think Vince would treat him right anyway (geez, he's the one who fired him in the first place), and maybe even put Matt in awkward situations.

Yeah, i too respect Matt's decision to not head back to WWE. I think he needs to explore the independants and go to places like TNA, ROH etc. It's certainly going to be a new, fresh experience for him and a totally different atmosphere to WWE

It would be cool if both Jeff and Matt Hardy were at the TNA PPV. There is also rumors that Rhyno will be at the PPV.

For the first time in 11 1/2 years, the WWE rendered me speechless. In all the time I've been watching wrestling, I've never been as stumped as I am now. I seroiusly coundn't tell what was real and what was scripted. I barely caught a glance o' Matt when he attacked Adam Copeland in the back, and doubted it was him, even when I rewinded the tape during commercial. But when he came out after Adam's match, attacked Adam, and then cut that promo...my mind couldn't rationalize what was happening. I mean, all this sh!t that has gone down the past, what, month and a half, two months would highly signify that Matt Hardy was not ever going to show his face on WWE programming again. Now...I'm the most confused about a WWE storyline than I've ever been. In a way, I hope Matt comes back and is finally used as at least an upper-midcarder (after this whole thing is over)...but in a way, I don't want to see him come back only to be shoved to "jobber" status like he was before he left. Also, further proof that his little "run-in" was planned...the camera was on Matt the entire time he was out there, during his attack on Adam, and even as he was getting "arrested". Had it been a random guy, the camera would've cut away. Secondly, the microphone worked the entire time he was talking. If it wasn't staged, the microphone would've been cut before he could get two sentences out, and they would've at least edited out him calling Lita a ho...I hope to get some answers from WWE or Matt Hardy (from his website) before next Monday night, cuz I don't know that I can wait that long for only a *possibility* of JR/King/Coach mentioning Hardy...because even tonight, they didn't mention it at all after it happened...if Matt's release was a work (the real-life sh!t isn't), then this was the greatest trick pulled by Vince McMahon since the Montreal screwjob.

I did/thought the same thing. When I saw him, I squealed in this really high voice that nobody, but myself understood, “Is that Matt? That can’t be Matt! I hope it’s Matt! Do you think that’s Matt?” I ran into the other room and my dad was like, huh? So I had to repeat myself. He thought it was Matt. I went and rewound my tape and watched it again (having nearly the same reaction). I told my dad, “I think they set that up to make it look like it wasn’t set up. If they hadn’t they would have went to commercial.” I couldn’t believe it! I was happy and confused and disappointed and confused and happy, all at the same time. I want Matt back!!!! Did anybody notice how Matt called Amy, “Lita”, but he called Adam by his real name? I dunno why I feel the need to mention that, but yeah...

Well it would be cool if it was actually real and Matt had enough of Lita and Edge and showed up at a show and did that. But I am not sure if it's real or not, but I think not, and it's probably a work by Vince. Now I'm even starting to think maybe the whole Lita cheating on Matt was a "work"? Hmm...

All I know is that Matt's forum *and* website have been taken down, or aren't working completely, so there's no answers there. Amy Dumas is supposed to be on Byte This tomorrow night, so that's gonna be interesting, cuz she's gonna be talking about what happened this past Monday night. Amber, I also noticed how Matt referred to Amy by her stage name, when he'd just referred to Edge by his real name. So that's why I'm even more confused. Either way, every time I try to rationalize this all, it makes my head hurt even more. I just want answers, dammit! LOL

If you hear anything post it, I am a little curious too. What is this she's gonna be on "Byte", what show or what time/channel?

Byte This is a webcast produced and shown live on the WWE website every Wednesday night at eight p.m. Tonight, with Amy Dumas...HILARIOUS! I tell ya, I loved her before she was on the show, and I love her even more now. She's always had that "no bullsh!t" style about her, and tonight, she proved it. She was just so casual about the whole situation. She talked about it, yeah, but in that "It's my life, and I don't feel the need to explain myself to anybody, even Matt" kinda tone. "Matt took it there [made it so public, despite me trying to handle it privately] by pretty much blasting me on his website, and in public, for the past few months. I was gonna take the high road, and not say anything, but after Monday night, well, here I am." There were a couple calls from fans, and then, lo and behold, Matt Hardy calls in, and goes on a 15-minute b!tchfest about what happened, and how he was a vindictive person, and that everybody was gonna pay for what they did to him (specifically Adam and Amy of course). He also b!tched about how he got fired because "Creative didn't have anything for him, not because of his personal situation" (his quote of Johnny Laurinitis, VP of Talent Relations, AKA Johnny Ace) when he was practically a week away from returning to WWE television. Amy said the best thing, tho, when she explained that Matt is the ultimate spin doctor, in that he knows how to make every situation seem like he's the victim, and that he played no role in their break-up. I have mad respect for Amy comin' out on a public forum like Byte This and explaining herself, and apologizing for how she went about everything, but she was just like, "This is my life. The fans don't know me, and I did what was right for me." It was very entertaining, cuz the whole time Matt was ranting, she was just sittin' there like, "Yeah...uh-huh, okay...no, yeah, i'm listening...okay, whatever." I couldn't help but laugh at Matt, cuz he made himself look like a total stinker...yeah, he got his heart broken...sorry for him, but sh*t happens. Spending your life getting back at people who wronged you is no way to live; I know this from personal experience. Before this broke, I was gonna always remember Matt as a gung-ho, passionate wrestler and wrestling fan...but now I'll only remember him as a very bitter, very vindictive, and very unstable kinda person.

Hmm...very interesting and was pretty cool, I just watched it, thanks for the heads up Wrestling Chick, lol. Never even heard of Byte before, pretty cool idea and see they interviewed a lot of Wrestlers in the past. Here's the link if anybody wants to check out the Lita/Amy interview or add any comments about it. www.wwe.com/community/bytethisLol, ok, so yeah this sounds real, but is it? That is my question to you all? And if it is somehow real and not a good "storyline" by Vince then Matt has sure changed from the sweet/morally correct guy. Vengence isn't the answer. Also I thought Edge was still married? Am I wrong? If he is still married how can he be in love with Lita and doesn't live with her? And if this is real, I understand if Lita really did fall in love with Edge then if they are serious, living together, and want to get married one day.

Personally, after hearing Matt on Byte This, I wouldn't lose any sleep if I never saw him again. A grown-a$$ man talkin' about bein' vindictive and gettin' his revenge and blah blah blah...God, learn from it and move the f*ck on! Life's too short to be wastin' time bein' angry at people, no matter what they've done. He just seemed like a little schoolboy who had his lunch money stolen, and now he wants to pay back the big bully who stole it. WAH, WAH, WAAAHH! I'm sorry, vindictive people are one of my top five pet peeves...instead of focusing on what Amy and Adam are doin', he needs to be worrying about gettin' his career in RoH or TNA or wherever he's goin' started, cuz that's all he's got left.

Well, if this isn't a creation of Vince, then Matt is... I'm speechless. He's is just, I don't believe it. Before we had only heard one side of the story and after hearing the other side... it's just, ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!! Amy did wrong, but she followed her heart. I can understand that, but Matt is so full of self-pity and getting revenge it's ridiculous!
Iceman, I'm pretty positive that Edge was still married when Amy and Adam got involved. I'm sure after all this, that is pretty much over. They might still be legally married, but I'm pretty sure that they're not still together.

Before we had only heard one side of the story and after hearing the other side... it's just, ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!! Amy did wrong, but she followed her heart. I can understand that, but Matt is so full of self-pity and getting revenge it's ridiculous! Exactly! From the way Amy portrayed herself on Byte This, I highly doubt she'd be acting like this if the roles were reversed. I was lookin' up at the posters on my wall (which are ALL wrestling, of course LOL), and I saw the Matt Hardy one from when he was just startin' off with his V1 thing. I didn't take to that character, I think, because it didn't seem real to me. We all know that WWE Superstars' characters are merely an extention of the people who play those characters. But Matt's V1 thing seemed very contrived. I think I knew then that I wasn't seein' the real side of Matt, whereas whenever Jeff was on TV, I knew that that's how he really was. I'm glad I've gotten to see the real person in Matt Hardy, because like Amy said, "Certain situations bring out the best and worst in people." It's just a shame, because I met Matt a few years ago before Wrestlemania X-8, and he seemed like the nicest person in the world...ah well...I know it's a mean thing to say, but during the "wedding" with Edge and Lita, after they played Matt's entrance video, and Lita pointed to the crowd laughing, I couldn't help but imagine her saying, "Yeah, at least I got a job, mofos!" ;D
