What do you guys all think of Y2J?
I have noticed that some fans hate the guy, whether he is Face or Heel but i sure as hell don't!
Chris Jericho has it all! He is a incredible wrestler and one of the most charismatic wrestlers to ever step foot in a WWE Ring. That's why people compare him to Shawn Michaels cause he too is one of the most charismatic. I love hearing Jericho on the mic, his skills on there are the best. He can be so comical yet real serious. And on top of all that, he is travelling round the world with his band Fozzy. It can't be easy for him to go and do gigs then fly back to wrestle.
But with both, he is dedicated and loves them both so much. Jericho has always been a top fav of mine, in fact it was him that got me into wrestling so i owe alot to the "Ayatollah Of Rock N' Rolla"!
One of the best moments was when he became the Undisputed Champion, it's too bad they ruined his title reign by having him cheat to win against everyone even Maven.I do hope he gets the World/WWE Title soon!

I was never big on Chris Jericho in WCW, but in a weak (talent wise) WWE I like him, suprised he gets no respect or big matches there. In WWE he should be a star, then again most WCW Wrestlers should be stars in WWE or TNA. Other example Jeff Jarrett in TNA.

Ive always loved his style because he can do mat based and power stuff. I think WWE should use him more because with him being lead singer of Fozzy, they could make him their top profiter.

I completely agree with you HBK about Y2J. He is amazing. I can't help but love the guy even when he is trying to be a heel. I think there are a lot of fans like that too, not just the ones that hate him either way. It seems like he has been trying to turn heel lately, but he is still always met with a lot of cheers. He's one of the ones that are great at being either heel or face, but I think the fans prefer him as face. That always makes it diffficult on a wrestler like him though because they have to do something huge to make the crowd completely turn on them.

I don't rate him at all - ok, the guys good on the mic but unless hes carried in the ring. He's hopeless. I speak as someone whos been in attendance when hes wrestled and hes woefully bad imo.

I've also seen Y2J live, and I have to disagree with you, Bruiser. Jericho is one of the most fluent wrestlers in the WWE. He can go from the cruiserweight, high-flying style to power, mat-based wrestling in the blink of an eye. His skills on the mic are also excellent. I think it's the main reason people find it so hard to boo him, because he can be downright hilarious. I also hope he gets a World title reign before the end of the year (not positive it'll happen at vengeance, tho, because I think the WWE will wait til at least Summerslam to have Cena drop the title), because he definitely deserves it.

I respect your opinions on Y2J but I really can't see whats good about him (mic skills aside) the majority of great workers like Jake Roberts have pointed out how he cannot change his style to suit whatever match hes wrestling in - if hes wrestling against a Benoit he likes to be aggressive - same if hes in there with a power guy ala Goldberg - he can't seem to understand that the smaller guy should sell for the world before rallying back to win a match. Great workers like Steamboat, Dibiase, Jake Roberts, Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle are intelligent enough to be able to do this. I can't say the same for Jericho sadly.

I agree with Wrestling Chick. I have seen Y2J live as well and think he is excellent, certainly not one-dimensional. Not positive about it, but I thought that Jake Roberts didn't even keep up with wrestling anymore. I believe that Chris Jericho is a lot more versatile than some people give him credit for.

I thought Chris was much better in WCW and his heel gimmick worked espically when he feuded with Dean Malenko.

At the ECW PPV Jericho wrestled a good match and proved he still has alot of wrestling skill. That match proved there is a difference between Lion Heart and Y2J. Jericho has to wrestle a WWE style so he doesn't get to show alot of the wrestling ability he has. Jericho also has good mic skills.
