Mike Mooneyham reports in his latest column for the Charleston Post and Courier that Ric Flair and Triple H will return to WWE TV on the October 3rd edition of RAW, the first episode of RAW that will be back on USA Network.
WWE was planning on having Flair and Triple H return to work a match at Summerslam, but ended up opting against it.
=======================================
I'm a big fan of both The Game and The Nature Boy. And even though it has been nice for them to back down for a while and let the younger talent and others get the spotlight, there is no point hiding the fact that Hunter & Flair have brought alot to this business and have both given their input to making wrestling what it is today. It's such a shame that they decided to scrap a Ric Flair Vs Triple H at Summerslam. That would such a awesome match to see. Their match on Raw in 2003 was a great match and i would love to see them go at it again. Hopefully we will see it in the near future

Yeah, to tell you the truth I haven't seen Flair in a while, now I know he hasn't been around, lol. Would be good to see the Nature Boy back in action. Kinda weird he wasn't around for Hogan's return, that could of been interesting.
HHH vs Flair, yeah, that would be a great match, and an even better Steel Cage Match.

Triple H influenced the WWE by being booked in the main event and winning the title. I think Triple H has had good matches but when he was main eventing every PPV and winning the title it was rediculous. It's good that Triple H is giving the spot light to some of the younger guys. It was advertised on the Unforgiven poster that it will be John Cena v.s. Kurt Angle for the WWE title and that should be a great match.

Please believe I'm countin' down 'til October 3rd. ;D I am a Triple H mark, and am not embarrased about it. The man just offers something to the program that nobody else does, and I respect him for it. I've sorely missed him these past couple months, and hope that when he comes back, he's even better than before (if possible). As far as his influence, yeah, bein' in the main event helps, but he earned it. Obviously, Vince was confident in his abilities to carry the company PPV after PPV. If not, I don't think Trips woulda been in that position. You can bring up his relationship with Stephanie all you want, but it's my opinion that, for one that's nobody's business, and two Vince will not let his daughter's relationship with anybody, even Triple H, influence who's pushed and who's not. I think Triple H catches too much flack about bein' married to Ms. McMahon, and not enough credit for being a solid, downright entertaining wrestler.
As far as Ricky Flair...I agree that a match between he and Triple H at Summerslam woulda been one for the record books. However, where would that have left them? Triple H and Ricky Flair have been a duo for over two and a half years now, and it'd be weird to break 'em up. Their match back in May 2003 was just jaw-dropping, because it was a chance for people to see that Flair could still pull it off. Much love and respect for the Nature Boy, because he is, and will always be, THE MAN. Triple H is today's version of Flair, but he will never, ever, EVER be the "Nature Boy".

Good points Wrestling Chick.
I believe Triple H adds a lot to the WWE also. He is one of the Stones that build the Arena called WWE. Others would be Undertaker, Kurt Angle, HBK for examples in my opinion. Although I am not a fan of Triple H, I am a fan of what he brings to the WWE. And he was already a WWE Superstar before he married Stephanie McMahon in my opinion. Him and Chyna were pretty big together and were head lining matches.
Lol, of course he'll never be as good as the Nature Boy...Whoooo.

Triple H himself pointed out that, once he got married to Steph, everybody seemed to forget about everything he'd done in his career up to that point. King of the Ring and DX specifically. It just grates my nerves that people don't acknowledge his contributions to the company, and instead wish to tear him down because of something that's nowhere near bein' their business.
As far as Ricky Flair....I agree with ya, Iceman, "WOOOOOOO!"

Triple H has accomplished alot in his career and has had main event matches but I don't think anyone can denie that Triple H has used his backstage influence to keep the title when he should have lost. Randy Orton had the title for a month before he lost it to Triple H and I think that proves Triple H had used his backstage influence to get the title because why would the WWE push Orton to the title and have him lose it a month later? I'm not saying Triple H didn't deserve a title run I'm just saying that he didn't deserve to have the title for as long as he did.

Welllllllllll
That may not have been HHH Backstage polaticing actualy.
That might just have been Vince and co wanting to erase a certain "Next Big Thing" from the recorde books as the youngest ever WWE Chmpion.
