I have just found out that Matt Hardy has been released from WWE due to the whole Edge/Lita fiasco! Here's some info that might interest you from Impactwrestling.com:
There will definitely be some backstage heat on Edge and Lita in some circles within WWE due to the release of Matt Hardy. When it comes down to it, Hardy was simply the guy who WWE could afford to lose to lessen the tension between the trio. WWE is in the process if trying to make Edge their next big star. Management has not always been super high on Hardy's interviews either and felt that of the two guys, Edge was more marketable. Management is also not high on the internet and the news that revolves around it regarding WWE and it didn't help at all for Matt to make the situation public, or confirm reports that had been posted. Lita and Edge were looked at by management as the two who never took the situation public and kept it very low profile.
I am absolutely stunned by this and quite pissed about it. I cannot believe they have released Matt Hardy. He is a great performer and entertainer and it's sad to see him go. He was the VICTIM of all this damn it!
I suppose he will go to TNA so the Hardy's will be reunited!

Geez, I didn't expect that. That's Vince McMahon being nice again I guess. Matt just keeps getting sh*t on and when he's finally healthy and was probably happy to finally get back into Wrestling, that's great. Matt has never down anything wrong and gets in trouble for telling the truth and saying how he feels? People should and now know how Lita and Edge are in real life, evil people, and we should think less of them.
Lol, they tried to make Edge the next big thing by tagging with Hogan 4 years ago and it didn't work then and hasn't worked now, Edge is a minor league player, he should never be a head liner.
Well hopefully Matt with be with his brother in TNA and enjoy life there and have fun, get away from the evil people and start over. Hopefully TNA will grow one day.

WTF?? That freakin' sucks! I've always liked Matt Hardy! None of this, as least from our points of view, was Matt's fault! I can't believe that they released him. Man, he got screwed! I sure as hell think he had a right not to keep it quiet if he didn't want to, just as much as they had the same right to keep it quiet. Not all the wrestlers like each other and they all still work together so I don't see why this situtation should be any different. It is possible that he wanted out as well, but I highly doubt it. Edge is freakin' married for gosh sake. I think he should have been the one to go! The only one who hasn't been hurt in this whole deal was Edge. Lita loved them both and it was wrong what she did and she's paid for it because she lost Matt, got him fired, and I'm sure she's not with Edge anymore though I don't know that for sure. She got what was coming to her. Edge however didn't.  I do hope Matt goes to TNA though. I've been waiting for a Hardy Boyz reunion!!  |

Matt sounds/is strong, I think he will do well. I hope he goes to TNA and becomes an even bigger star than ever before.

The wrong people don't get what they deserve a lot of time. Hope somehow this all makes Matt a better and stronger person from what he went through. |

You all know or should know that I am against Matt Hardy in no way shape or form. I don't want to start anything up. I just didn't want to let this little fact go unseen, because it shouldn't. As I've said before, there are two sides to every story. Right after the whole mess came about between the three, on Matt Hardy's site, all the pictures of Lita were taken down of course. Very shortly thereafter pictures of Matt and Lori, his "friend" were posted in his media gallery. One of them together hugging in front of his house and another of them together in his hot tub. I keep seeing all this lashing out at Lita all around, but never anything about this. I'm not saying that there should be anything said about it, I just thought it was right to point this out.
