I never really watch 'SmackDown!' so when Carlito was traded to 'Raw' I got to see his in-ring work and last monday his Cabana when he interviewed RVD.
My question is why is Carlito so 'over', I can't personally see why. Personally, I think Christian is better on the mic and a better wrestler so why isn't he getting a big push?.
Perhaps someone can explain it to me?

The dude is funny and entertaing plain and simple. I was sure glad when he showed up on the flagship RAW.

Well he is more entertaining and funnier/stupier than Christian. That I can see, but I don't care for either of them at all. They should be nothing more than jobbers, but in a weak WWE they are "B" Wrestlers.
If this was 1985 instead of 2005, Carlito would be selling tickets to fans at a booth at the Spectrum or Madison Square Garden and Christian would be a Bouncer at some Club down the street from it in Philly or New York. Plain and simple.

I don't know. I don't really care for Carlito all that much. The whole apple thing... I know it's his gimmick, but I find it a bit old already. I think Chrisitian is much better too.

I'm gonna have to agree with Tigermask and Amber. Carlito doesn't interest me one bit. His gimmick isn't that great and i don't find him at all entertaining or funny. And his In-ring skills and mic skills for that matter, i think, need alot of improvement!
So in my opinion, Christian is by far much more of a better wrestler and entertainer than Carlito. I don't see how people can think Carlito is a overall better person than Christian. I mean if you compare Christian's in ring skills with Carlito's, it's obvious who is better! CAPTAIN CHARISMA!

-- I think it's the fro, the accent, and the fact that he can spit apples. He's only in the WWE because of his daddy, former World Heavyweight Champion Carlos Calon - and it's his looks that are keeping him here.  |

Carlito has some good mic skills but Carlito's Cabana on Smackdown was not entertaining. Shelton Benjamin should have kept the IC belt because he was a good IC champion.

I knew about his dad, but geesh. I don't think he was that special, was he? I mean it's like they hand championships to this guy on a silver platter and while everybody else has to work their freaking butt off to even get a shot. All he has to do is show up, it seems like.

I like christain a whole lot more than Carlito, but Carlito IMO has some good inring skills and is a good IC champ, he was better on SD IMO.

Carlito and Eugene need a hair vs hair match...that would draw too I think. Lol, good idea man, that would be pretty cool, a good old hair cut match. Actually to see them go against each other isn't a bad idea either. You know they would probably have Carlito win though right? Because the only reason Carlito is famous I believe now is because he can grow an afro. That's gotta be the main reason besides his dad, lol. |

I've been thinking that Carlito should be in a hair vs. hair match too. I thought him and Chris Jericho would be good because they both have their interview segment things and stuff, but Jericho seems to be leaning toward the heel side now so I'm not sure how that would go over, but Carlito is definitely a heel and Eugene is, well, Eugene(I <3 Eugene!!!). So that would probably work out better. I would lmao if Carlito got his head shaved. That would be awesome. I know that the 'fro is Carlito's thing, but without Eugene's big hair he wouldn't seem as, err, Eugene-ish. So if the match did happen I defintely would hope for Eugene to win for that reason and because Eugene rules!!

He's just the new cocky bad guy, with a new funny cacthphase.
just like rock,cena,hbk,mr perfect,jarrett,orton.
After a while he'll turn face. he's already getting medium pops.
i hate it when they do this. the rock and shawn were always more entertaining when heal.
