With Smackdown's World champion John Cena bein' drafted over to RAW a couple nights ago (still a little in shock over *that* one), do you think Teddy Long can bounce back from this? Who do you think will be Smackdown's first trade? How do you think the draft will go over the rest of the month?
My opinion: Batista gets drafted with the World Heavyweight title, Triple H gets drafted, or Triple H wins the World Heavyweight title at Vengeance but gets drafted over to Smackdown taking that title with him. Either way, Smackdown needs a World champion now! LOL It'd be nice to see 'Taker on RAW for more feuds or a reunion of the "Brothers of Destruction". Charlie Haas would be a nice addition to RAW, quite possibly for a feud with his former tag team partner, Mr. Benjamin. I'd like to see Chris Jericho on Smackdown, because he needs new feuds as well. His "lack of passion" for wrestling that he's portraying on TV is a little too realistic for me.

It'd be nice to see 'Taker on RAW for more feuds or a reunion of the "Brothers of Destruction". I'd like to see Chris Jericho on Smackdown, because he needs new feuds as well. I agree with you on Jericho needing a change, his "lack of passion" is due to his lack of "Star" opponents/matches. Jericho should be higher up on the ranks in WWE. I really think ever since WCW closed and he went to WWE he never really got respect, and with such a short list of "real" talent in the WWE now days he should be near the top of the WWE. The "Brothers of Destruction", Undertaker and Kane, now that's a strong tag-team and together would put them at the top off the bat in my opinion. But does the Undertaker really want to start a tag-team career? I don't know, but I'd like to see it. |

'Taker may not *need* a tag team run, but I think it'd be nice to see it nonetheless. After all, after this whole Lita/Edge angle, I think the fans need to be reminded of why Kane was called a monster. Remember when Vinnie Mac came out on RAW and called them "two putrid tacos" and they went on a rampage the whole show? That's the Kane I miss, and I think only the Deadman would be able to bring that rage out of Kane again. If the get the tag titles out of that run, it'll be good times for me.

Yeah, Taker and Kane together as a tag-team would definitly make WWE more entertaining, why doesn't Vince see it that way though? Lol.

I wonder if Cena will get traded back to Smackdown, like Trips was traded back to Raw last year? I hope Cena stays on Raw and either Batista or Trips, whoever is champ, go to Smackdown. I prefer Triple H going to Smackdown because he is just stale on Raw now. Send Angle to Raw to replace him as the lead heel.

I think it's great how Cena is on RAW, but I don't like that he's bringing the title with him. I definitely don't think Smackdown! should be without a champion, I don't think Batista should go to Smackdown! or HHH if he wins at Vengeance which I hope he doesn't, and I don't think that it is time for another Undisputed Championship, at least not yet. I'm hoping that Cena will either get drafted back or that he loses the belt to somebody and right after, they get drafted to Smackdown! or something like that. I would love to see Cena stick around on RAW though.
I absolutely hate the fact that Chris Benoit has been drafted to Smackdown! He is one of my favorites and I don't catch UPN, so I won't get to see him near as much as I do now. I hope he gets drafted back.

I'll have to say, the past few weeks have been the most exciting time for wrestling the whole year. This draft has really taken me by surprise. I was shocked as hell to see Carlito drafted, 'cuz I'm gonna miss the "Cabana" on Smackdown. Smackdown's draft picks have also been pretty surprising, just because I thought Muhammad Hassan (their most recent pick) would get a rematch against Cena for ending his "undefeated streak". I wonder if I'll get to see Hassan against Undertaker now. If 'Taker doesn't get drafted to RAW, at least he'll have a few new faces to feud with over on Smackdown. Still got my hopes up that Triple H will head over to the Blue side after Vengeance, though. I don't think he's grown stale on RAW, I'd just like to see him and 'Taker go at it one more time before 'Taker's contract runs out next year. I have no idea who the final two picks for RAW will be, but they can't get any bigger than John Cena!  |

So after it's all said and done, here are all the picks... And here are the trades...  I am happy that RAW is getting Rene Dupree. I think he has a lot of potential and if he get's a push in the right direction, we might see great things from him. Other than that, I'm not really thrilled or disappointed in any of the other trades. I am really happy about all the RAW draft picks except for Carlito. Him, I think RAW could have done without. And I was disappointed in all the Smackdown! draft picks except for Mohammed Hassan. But that's expected, I guess. I'm sure everybody will get loads of new opportunities on their new shows, but I will certainly miss the guys who went to Smackdown! particularly Benoit and Orton. DirecTV really needs to pick up UPN, because I can't watch Smackdown! and I hate that. Well, I can, but on a regular tv channel with loads of static and it comes on at like 11 pm on Saturdays and my parents won't let me stay up to watch the whole thing. |

Well thanks for the update Amber. Sorry you don't get UPN on DirectTV. I have Dishnet which gets it. Hope DirectTV picks up UPN sometime so you can watch Smackdown. |
