Management told Samoa Joe to go the ring last night to cut a promo on Scott Hall to take the heat off of the company for a major star no-showing a pay-per-view. They wanted him to put over the guys on the roster and then to introduce Eric Young as his replacement partner. Joe's promo went about five minutes longer than originally planned not to mention that it incorporated a lot more content, especially aimed at Kevin Nash, than was planned.
- During the promo, Joe leaned over the top rope and asked someone off camera if they were mad at him. Apparently, he looked over at TNA President Dixie Carter -- who was sitting in the audience -- shrugged and said, "Go ahead and fire me, I don't care." As you can imagine, Carter was legitimately upset with him "going into business for himself" and taking so long with his promo. Furthermore, Kevin Nash was legitimately upset that Joe turned Scott Hall's no-show into a rant against him for some reason.
- Nash returned to the back right away after the match had concluded. He was waiting for Joe to show up so he could confront him about his comments. When Joe got backstage, Nash confronted him and a heated verbal exchange with some shoving ensued between the two. Joe soon backed down to prevent the situation from escalating.
- Joe gave an emotional apology at today's all-talent meeting as he felt he went overboard with his promo from the night before. He said he hoped his apology would be accepted.

Tell me how in the hell did TNA Management get upset at Samoa Joe for doing something they told him to do? They had to known what to expect before hand because out of Joe's mouth he said "they just gave me a live mic on pay per view". In my mind Joe did nothing wrong.
As far as Joe turning Scott Hall no showing into a rant against Kevin Nash, during this promo outside of the ring were Kurt & Karen Angle, A.J. Styles, and Tomko in the middle of it. They were mostly laughing at what Joe was saying. Also in the promo Joe told Scott Hall to kiss his you know what. He punked out on Joe, and even fan in the building. He called Hall a punk. Outside of the ring Kurt yelled out "What about Nash?"
Speaking for earlier in the Turning Point ppv before it was known Hall was gonna be a no show. Kurt Angle went in Joe's locker room to talk to him about Hall and Nash using him. He warned Joe it was a matter of time before he was kicked to the curb by Hall and Nash. Angle went off saying this is what they do in the business is use people. So I can't say I blame Joe for going the extra mile in his promo before the main event, because I don't blame Joe at all. The Fans atleast were into the promo!

Thats true Desert Rage. But Samoan Joe realy dosen't want to get himself a reputation (rightly or wrongly) as someone who "gose into buissnes for themselves" either on the mike or in the ring. Prime example is Teddy Hart he's got a real bad reputation for that he's blown more chances in the wrestling buissnes then anyone i can remember in recent history.
I think the way TNA Managment saw it was they asked him to put over the roster and i'm assumeing (since he's on the roster) that means Kevin Nash as well so verbaly slaming him in the promo wasn't exasctly doing what they asked him to.
Also looking at the TNA President Dixie Carter and saying "Go ahead and fire me, I don't care." was a rather stupied thing to do. I can understand Why he was annoyed with Hall no showing (i'll resrve judgment on the resson why he did untill evidence to contridict his explination comes to light) and wanting to vent his anger but you can't realy blame anyone but Scott Hall, I meen Kevin Nash is not his keeper if Hall has drunk before the show then thats his choice.
Also i don't think Angle should realy have been stiering trouble up that wasn't a very profeshional thing to do in my oppinion.

It is very compelling, you can tell it was straight from his heart and not from a script. thats what i like about TNA. they take risks, WWE don't.
