Invasion angle what would you do??

what do you guys think wnet wrong here i enjoyed it but it could of been so much more!

they should have brought in the nWo here instead of in 2002 but then with HHH injured we could not have DX vs. nWo which imo would be a dream!

I would love to see the NWO (Hogan, Nash, & Hall) feud with DX (Trips, Roaddogg, & Billy Gunn). But I also know who I would have rooted for and thats the NWO. I would have liked to have seen Austin vs Scott Steiner and watch Steiner tear that bald head off his shoulders.

I think the main problem with the inital angle was the lack of the 'real' star names like Hogan, Hall, Nash, Sting, Steiner, Bagwell & of course, Goldberg. Had these names been brought in when the angle was in its infancy and been given the ball to run with it - it would have drew huge business but for some unknown reason Vince felt we would believe some of the lesser names would be believable threats to the likes of Rock and still draw money.

The Invasion Angle could have been booked alot better, if Bishoff had have apcepted the deal he was offered to be part and also if vince had also brought in the nWo and signed Bigger names like Goldberg, stiener etc... from the start, but in my opinion it seemed like vince just wanted to bury the name of wcw from the start, and plus what was the point in having ecw join with wcw when everybody knew that Paul E hated wcw and everything it stood for, it would have been better if all 3 companys battled it out against each other, but saying that, there would have been alot of realises due to therebeen too many top name stars and not another T.V time

I think it was doomed from the start. When Booker T. and DDP are the two biggest names you can get, something is seriously wrong. Even though Booker was a multiple time WCW champion and a good performer, IMO, he wasn't really looked upon as an upper eschalon guy at the time. And DDP was placed in the stalker angle and got his butt kicked by Undertaker's wife. They also had Bagwell for about a week before his pompous ass got canned. All of the other guys were mid-carders at best. Having Steve Austin become leader of the Alliance and berate them every chance he got didn't help matters much either; it made them all look like fools. And of course, the whole thing was just another chapter to the never-ending McMahon family soap opera as the whole story revolved around Shane and Stephanie trying to put daddy out of business. Everybody else was virtually a member of the supporting cast. The sad/funny part is the day after they kill off WCW, they bring in Flair, one of the two guys (along with Sting) who epitomized WCW for years. Then three months later the nWo comes in. Where were these guys a few months prior when you needed them to help get this angle over? Oh yeah, that's right, it might actually draw some interest in WCW and make it look like it had a chance of being at least somewhat successful. And as we all know, Vince would have none of that.

I think it wasn't really a good idea doing the invasion because it leaves fewer big corporations for new up and coming wrestlers to make it in the business. now all they have is the WWE or TNA for big companies.

If star names such as Stiener, Goldberg, Flair, and STING would have been brough it the invasion would have gone smoother and I think that we would have WCW Nitro instead of WWE Smackdown!

Well I would rather be watching WCW Nitro than WWE Smackdown, lol.
