My vote went with Owen Hart who IMO was definitely WWF champion material.

I also would have liked to have seen Mr Perfect or Rick Rude as the WWF champion. But these guys were great inring and on the mic side of entertainment. Sadly they never got that chance that they deserved to be on the very top.

I voted for "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase he should have had a Title run there's no 2 ways about it.
Also on a side note
I might be wrong here but didn't Rick Rude once win the NWA Title in WCW only to have it rename sthe Internationol Heveywaight title or something daft???

Well the Honky Tonk Man was a great IC Champ. As far as a HW Champ, I think Jake the Snake Roberts would of been a great Heel HW Champion. Second would of been the Million Dollar Man, but him having the Million Dollar Belt was pretty cool too. 3rd choice would be the Bad Guy, Scott Hall.
1. Jake Roberts 2. Million Dollar Man 3. Scott Hall

Roddy Piper would of been great as either a Heel run in 85 or a Face run in 86,perhaps the latter would of happened if he didnt announce his retirement at the time

Also on a side note I might be wrong here but didn't Rick Rude once win the NWA Title in WCW only to have it rename sthe Internationol Heveywaight title or something daft??? DiBiase had a short stint with the WWF championship in 1988 after Andre beat Hogan on NBC and gave him the belt. He actually defended the title on some house shows before it was announced on the following weekend's TV by Jack Tunney that the title could only be won by pinfall or submission and that Andre officially vacated the title when he forfeited it. That led to the tournament at Wrestlemania IV to crown a new champion. As for the Rick Rude situation, WCW was using the NWA title, but didn't want to cooperative with the NWA and had planned to switch the championship from Ric Flair to Rude without getting NWA approval first (and had already pre-taped footage of him with the belt). When WCW failed to renew their NWA membership a few weeks prior to the match, the NWA pulled all sanctioning and ended up suing them for continuing to promote it as an NWA bout and actually tried to block it from becoming any type of title match at all (on the night of the show, the announcers simply called it the World title without making any mention of the NWA). The end result saw WCW keep the belt, which they demonstrated ownership rights to in court, but they publicly announced their separation from the NWA and Rude was temporarily presented as just the holder of "The Gold Belt", which allegedly was no longer symbolic of any championship, before it was explained that he was recognized as the World heavyweight champion by "WCW International". Thus it became the WCW International World title, WCW International heavyweight title, WCW World International title, along with all of the other variations they came up with to describe it (including still calling it the Gold Belt). It was definitely a very confusing time.

I gotta go with Ted DiBiase. After all, he has stated if it weren't for the Honky Tonk Man, he would have had a run as W.W.F. Champ. An all-around great wrestler and talker who really understood the complexities and nuances of his gimmick. The W.W.F. really missed the boat on that one, as that Million Dollar Champion thing was B.S.

Dibease was a great competitor and I agree that hw should have had atleast one run as WWF champion. But this is somethng thats happened to alot of guys back then who deserved to get a title run but was never given a shot. For example Rick Rude IMO would have been a great WWF champion but not given the title.
