The Wrestling-Observer Newsletter reports that TNA has been contemplating a PPV match featuring Samoa Joe against a mixed martial arts competitor.
TNA has yet to zero in on a name, with a key challenge being finding someone willing and capable of working a good match that is prominent enough to spike a PPV buyrate.
This angle should not at all be considered "confirmed," as TNA has yet to commit to the idea. Now would be an ideal time for it to come together, however, since an MMA personality could help TNA better hang onto the UFC lead-in.

I hope he does get beaten up like he does to everyone else knock him down a peg or two and then maybe people will begin to notice how much of a bad wrestler he is
