Bill Goldberg confirmed in an email to members of his official Team Goldberg fan club on his official website that he has signed a 90-day holding-deal with Spike TV and is meeting with executives from the network next week.
The former WCW/WWE World Champion wrote the following: "The holding-deal definitely means that I now will talk with TNA Wrestling, but nothing further than that,"
He also confirmed that he was scheduled to wrestle for Gladiator Championship Wrestling on August 20th, but will have to cancel the appearance due to the new holding-deal with Spike TV.

Goldberg is a terrible wrestler and he wouldn't help TNA. Goldberg was WCW's biggest star in the late 90s but when he was in the WWE in 2003 the ratings didn't go through the roof. Did Goldberg increase WWE ratings? Did Goldberg have good WWE matches? Was Goldberg worth the money WWE paid him to sign a one year contract? The answer to these questions are no. Goldberg didn't increase WWE ratings,Goldberg didn't have good WWE matches, and Goldberg wasn't worth the money WWE paid him.
