TNA actually made their first money offer to Bill Goldberg last week. It should come as no surprise that he turned it down though.
Right now, with his son just being born, it would be very difficult to get him to do anything. It is being said that it would take a ton of money to lure him in at a later date. People aware of what's going on are doubtful that TNA's offer would even come close to what Goldberg's willing to work for and that a deal is not likely to occur.
Goldberg is financially set for life. He still gets offers for wrestling, MMA and public appearances. However, Goldberg still thinks that his market value is the same as it was in 1998.
Goldberg's wife Wanda gave birth to the couple's first child prematurely on May 10th. The son was actually due on June 10th, but he's doing fine nonetheless.

Lol, nice, that's Goldberg, just wanting too much money. He should know he shouldn't get more than Sting or Steiner. He probably wants like 3 million or something. By looking at the WWE payroll (my thread in WWE Folder) Wrestlers don't get paid nearly as much as they used to, I wish he would understand this, but I guess he just has too big of an ego. And to think, he'd still be getting paid more doing the Wrestling for whatever they offer him than doing what he's doing now. Plus he knows TNA doesn't make much of a profit and their trying to grow, I guess Goldberg is all about self, which people have said before.

And like I've said before Ice....TNA would be better off without Goldberg's ego screwing things up and it looks like that is exactly what's going to happen.

Well I agree his ego can be a problem and I don't like that he's like that, but the upside of having him there is to great for TNA. Even if he's only there for a little bit it would help TNA grow and add fans.

Yeah, but then, what happens if he doesn't see a title within six months? He leaves and the fans that they've just got disappear too.

Yeah, but then, what happens if he doesn't see a title within six months? He leaves and the fans that they've just got disappear too. Exactly the point I was trying to make. Is the short term success worth the long term problems that may lead to stars like A.J. Styles, Abyss, Raven & Christopher Daniels leaving TNA for WWE? It's not worth it.
