TNA officials are looking to hold a TNA PPV outside of Orlando for a change, perhaps as early as September for the Bound For Glory PPV. It's not a done a deal, but it appears likely. In regards to where it would be held, several cities are being discussed at the moment.
TNA officials have contacted New Japan in hopes of having Christy Hemme train at the Inoki Dojo in Santa Monica, California. Considering that Christy lives in California and TNA's homebase is all the way on the other side of the country, this would be the most convenient way for her to get adequate wrestling training. Also, Christy auditioned for a hosting job for the MTV wrestling project at the Los Angeles television taping back in February, but she was not selected for the gig.
Monty Brown has been out of action for two months due to knee surgery. Monty made his return to the ring on April 29 in a match in Germany. Monty will probably be returning to TNA at this week's Impact tapings.
Alex Marvez of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel interviewed Raven for his weekly column. In the article, Raven talks about his current health and his recent time away from TNA. Raven said, "I really abused myself for a long, long time and now I'm paying the price for it. For a while, I didn't care about myself physically or emotionally. I think what happened is when you abuse your body long enough, it rebels."
At last nights TNA Sacrifice PPV, the screen temporarily froze near the conclusion of the opening match between Jushin Liger and Petey Williams. The screen remained frozen until it was replaced by a blue screen saying "TNA Will be Right Back!" When the screen came back on, the match was over and Samoa Joe was giving an interview. For anyone wondering about the result of the match, Jushin Liger pinned Petey Williams after a facebuster. They re-shot the Samoa Joe backstage segment later in the show so it could air live.
