What do you think has been the best Main Event at Wrestlemania?
I think this is so hard to decide. From a personal point of view I'd love to put Bret in that category, but I think that simply for the build up and the fact that two Faces hadn't really headlined a PPV like this in the WWF before, the best for me had to be Hulk Hogan v The Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania 6.

The best main event at Wrestlemania? Wrestlemania XII: Iron Man Match for the WWF Title -- Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels. Rarely are hour long broadways fun to watch other than Flair-Steamboat but this was an exception.

Hogan/Warrior was pure brilliance in fairness, two of my all time favourites battling it out in a very good match face/face match...
So I think I'll say that.

Three words - Hogan v. Andre. Technically, the match was a disaster. But in emotion, awe, and the clash of two eras - nothing will ever beat it.

Austin vs Brett Hart WMXIII and Brett Hary vs Owen Hart WM X. Unfortunately neither one of those was the main event of that Wrestlemania even though they were the best matches. |

True but I guess those two matches are the ones that stick out in my mind. As far as main event at WM I would have to go with these:
Hogan vs Savage Wrestlemania V
Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior Wrestlemania VI
Michaels vs Brett Hart Wrestlemania XII (Iron man match).

austin vs the rock at wm17 was a good match. True and the one at WM 15 was good to as was Austin vs Michaels at WM 14. Owen Hart vs Brett Hart at WM 10 was one that really could have been the best match outta any WM match. The match was a lesson in technical wrestling at its finest with Owen getting the unexpected pin. |

Hogan vs Savage WM V, Hogan vs Warrior WM VI, Hogan vs Sgt. Slaughter WM VII (the drama was electric for all these matches, the crowd, the stories and the announcers were all at their perfect old school peak!)

Hogan vs Rock at WM X8 - just for the pure emotion surrounding the match and Hogan proving he could still have a hell of a match.

just for what it meant to me it was Rock vs. Austin when mcmahon helped Austin win it caused the most shock for me and i will not forget it!
