Mike Johnson reports that former WCW stars Lex Luger, Buff Bagwell, and Rick Steiner are all backstage at Impact and will appear at some point during the tapings tonight.

Wow, you kidding me? TNA is really starting to get serious now, this sounds great if they add them, this should of been done a lot time ago bring in WCW Wrestlers, better late than never though. Maybe they have stepped up since ECW is coming back soon? I know they are losing Sabu (who they never used enough) so maybe they are trying to booster their roster now before ECW explodes into the scene? Hopefully they'll have Kevin Nash back soon too, that would be a really nice boost.

That really is 3 big names and Im glad one of them is Rick Steiner and if him and Scott unite I believe we'll have new TNA tag team champs. Buff and Lex would be great additions without a doubt. TNA is really on the rise.

... Buff Luger, and Rick are only paid for three appearances... and I really hope they leave it at that. Buff and Luger are terrible wrestlers, and nobody is going to care about them in 2006. Rick could feud with and or reunite with Scott, who impressed me at Lockdown. I've said it before and I'll say it again. TNA must build their own stars instead of bring in old has beens and never weres.

Rick could feud with and or reunite with Scott, who impressed me at Lockdown. Cool, glad Scott impressed you, I didn't get to see him. Well it worked pretty well with WCW when they brought in Hall, Nash, and Hogan ya know? Forming the NWO. Also WCW brought in others. Remember TNA brought in Raven, Franchise, and Jarrett to start off their TNA too. Cann't believe that their not going to use Luger, Buff, and Rick after reading HBK's post and now yours, that's beat.

But what WCW did was more like TNA bringing in Christian, taking an active wrestler from the competition. Did Sting really do that much for ratings? I don't think so. If Christian hadn't been stuck in the mid-card hell in WWE then the WWE faithful wouldn't look down their noses at Christian suddenly being in the main event, where he belongs. I really hope Randy Orton keeps screwing up in the E, becasue that would be a hot pick-up for TNA.

True Twiggie, I agree with you also bringing in somebody young and fresh like Randy Orton. TNA is probably hoping they get a shot at him.
