I thought this might make a good thread so I copied if from when BWO asked me why I don't like the X-Division. Everybody please feel free to give your opinions if you like the X-Division idea in TNA or not. Iceman, Just wondering why you don't like the X-Division? Well for one reason I don't like having divisions based on weight. Everybody should be able to Wrestle everybody for any belt at any given time. I even remember Rey Mysterio wrestled Big Poppa Pump and Kevin Nash before and that was kinda cool because it was different, and Rey held his own too. And before you say well they can, yeah technically they can but that will never happen because guys like AJ, the Fallen Angel, Samoa Joe will never get a chance at the Heavyweight Belt and they should. You cann't tell me their not heavy enough to wrestle Jeff Jarrett right? Lol. I like how the old WWF was, you had a Heavyweight Belt for the best Wrestler and an Intercontinental for the second best.

The X-Division is everything the WWE Cruiserweight Division should be. As for saying the X-Division wrestlers will never get a chance at the NWA Title, AJ Styles has held the title three times, Daniels has had numerous title shots back in the days of the weekly PPV's, and I believe Joe could be moving to the Heavyweight division within the next year, if rumours are correct.

I like the X-Division too. It's not like the wrestlers are stuck there. Plus putting all their cruisers together lets them put on awesome fast-paced matches that the bigger guys wouldn't be able to keep up with.

yes, there are no rules saying that the X-division guys can't wrestle the bigger guy. Although I wouldn't want to see Kevin Nash trying to cross the wire to get the X. LOL

No, actually. Nash was scheduled to face Jeff Jarrett at Bound For Glory, in October. However, on the morning before the show, Nash was rushed to hospital with a mild heart attack, and hasn't wrestled for TNA since.

Yeah Cradle is right, and that's ashame. Around that time was really when TNA was stepping up to the next level too, adding Team 3D around the same time also. Really ashame Nash cann't be part of it now since he helped it grow, he would have a huge Impact. Hopefully he comes back soon.

I do wish that WWE would make their cruiserweight matches as good as x-division because TNA do matches that are non-stop action from start to finish whereas in cruiserweight matches in WWE they are all kinda limited to what moves they can do. I think its good how AJ can go for X-title when there are too many competitors for the main championship.

Especially since they have Samoa Joe as the X Division champion!

Yeah... well, all I know is in Botch-O-Rama 2 you see Nash ef up his leg lifting someone into a powerbomb. And it was clearly in TNA's six-sided ring.
