NEWS: "Major Acquisition" To Appear For TNA This Sunday At "Genesis"

On Tuesday morning, TNA management informed TNAwrestling.com that the company has come to terms with a "major acquisition" who will appear this Sunday during the live "Genesis" Pay-Per-View.

When reached for comment, TNA President Dixie Carter offered the following:

"This is the single biggest jump in TNA history," Carter said. "The contract is signed, the travel is set and in my opinion, 'Genesis' just got a whole lot more intriguing."

TNA will have further information on the "major acquisition" this Sunday on the live countdown preshow a half hour before "Genesis".

So who do you think will be TNA's Major Acquisition?

I think Christian will be the next Major Acquisition to TNA. He seems like the most obvious to me, but I would really like to see Brock Lesnar or Jericho added more.

I think Benoit will be added when his contract runs out too.

What a great and true "Impact" it would be if Sting or Goldberg came to TNA.

I really think it will be a waste and big disappointment if all this hype is for Test or Charlie Haas.

Captain Charisma, no doubt. Can't be Benoit since he's still under contract until the end of the month. There's also a possibility that it could be Matt 'Spike Dudley' Hyson, but he's been scheduled to debut at Genesis for some time now, so it's probably not him.

Christian signed with TNA and will appear at Genesis.

Yeah, saw that, he is a nice addition to TNA and cool to see him there, but not a huge Impact like they say.

Are you guys saying that Benoit is going to be leaving WWE when his contract runs out or are you just speculating on the possibility that he could leave for TNA when his contract runs out?? I hope neither happens. Yeah, Benoit would be good for TNA, but I love him to death and I think he deserves another world title reign with the WWE. I think he should jump ship, but not quite that big of a jump. I'd really like to see him back on RAW instead.

Yeah Amber, I heard that when Benoits contract is up Vince wouldn't renew it, so Benoit may be joining TNA. I think he would be better there and get a bigger spotlight which he deserves.

Nah, it's all to do with Benoit being given an offer WAY less than his current contract. Vince will renew it, but at a much lower downside guarantee. That's why Christian Cage left. The Benoit/TNA thing is pure speculation at this point.
