Yeah, can't blame 3rd Hardy. Of course, booking Zeus into the top feud in wrestling is like booking Jessica Simpson into the MENSA World Championships.

Very true, 80s. Jessica Simpson & MENSA don't belong in the same state together. Now Paul Ellering, that's a different story.
As for your KOTR 80's idea. Think to how the 90's ones went...they foreshadowed who was a future main eventer..i.e. Austin, HHH, etc. So for KOTR........
1987 Andre The Giant beats Savage 1988 Savage beats HTM 1989 Warrior beats Mr. Perfect (by countout so he's still unpinned) 1990 Earthquake over Kerry Von Erich 1991 Bret Hart over Sgt. Slaughter 1992 Shawn Michaels over Davey Boy Smith

I think your picks make a lot of sense. But Savage was already World Champ in '88; why would he need to win the tournament? That's why I thought Bad News should have got the duke. Nevertheless, Andre vs. Savage in '87 makes my mouth water even now.

You're right. Should have reversed with HTM over Savage. That would put Honky in the stratosphere.
