Updates On The Returns Of Bret Hart, Sting, & Nash in TNA
Credit: PWTorch 09/06/05
As TNA prepares for its primetime cable debut, a prominent focus is securing names big enough to attract mainstream professional wrestling fans. While the names "AJ Styles" and "Christopher Daniels" mean very little to the average WWE fan, names like "Bret Hart" and "Sting" do. Both of those names are being courted by TNA, but few believe either will appear on the debut of Impact.
Sources state that TNA has been having trouble reaching Sting, while Bret Hart will likely not seriously consider a TNA deal until after WWE releases his DVD.
Kevin Nash, however, will likely work with TNA this fall. Nash appears on the poster for "Bound For Glory" and while apparently not signed to a written deal, is said to be on very good terms with TNA. Of course, with WWE reportedly making an aggressive attempt to draw big names away from TNA, if the two can't reach a deal soon, it's possible he could end up back in the number one wrestling promotion.
Tito Ortiz is also expected to return to TNA for work this fall. In addition to drawing some WWE fans, TNA also wants to appeal to fans of UFC, which shares the Spike TV home. And, there are very few fighters who rival Ortiz's name value with the casual UFC fan.

Well i already thought TNA had Kevin Nash locked down but he was taking a break. He is a definate impact star that TNA cann't afford to lose to the WWE. Sure would boost either league.
If TNA could get Sting that would be great. Give him all the money he wants because a Star like him could put TNA over the top and into the next level possible competing with the WWE.
Bret would be great, but I think his role would only be appearances and not Wrestling.

I think Bret would be great as a new DOA, kinda like Dusty Rhodes was.

No Can Garuntee that won't happan Bret's on the record as stating he has no intrest what so ever in being just an On-Air Personality.
He wants his fans to remmember him as a Wreslter.

Sorry came acorss badly there.
But your right it would be cool to see him on TV again.
But here's something I don't understand whats the diffrence between a company like TNA and a copmany like WWA (World Wrestling All Stars) which Bret WAS The Commisoner of for a Year or more???
Now While it didn't get World Exposer it did get some TV time I think on The Wrestling Channal becuase when I went to a event in Newcastle there were deffinatly TV Camera's there.
So just seems a bit bizzar he'll do it for one company and then say he has no intrest in doing such a role.

People change, I guess. It may have something to do with TNA being a worldwide company, even though they only run events in Orlando.
