Details On CM Punk's Major Heat Backstage

According to several sources in contact with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, CM Punk has earned himself even more heat backstage.

After learning that he was booked to lose on a house show card two weeks ago, Punk reportedly asked one of the road agents if the reports of him being in WWE's doghouse were true. The agent denied the idea that there was heat on Punk. However, the road agent did an about-face by telling his colleagues about the conversation he had with Punk, giving them the idea that Punk was complaining about doing the job. He now has more heat than ever.

If he did jobs and didn't react like Carlito, Rob Van Dam and Shelton Benjamin, the story would be that he doesn't care or he doesn't have any passion for wrestling. So well, Punk is currently in a tough spot to say the least.

i dont think many people would miss it, they should release ECW from the WWE clutches and let it go solo

Big mistake on Vinces part thinking he could revive it to its former self. Most old school ECW fans hate the WWE and Vince and just because Vince brought it back did not mean they would go for it. The proof is in the pudding and its showing by failing miserably.

CM Punk is an underused, under-rated performer. If we look at the reasons for his heat you could say...
He is a drug free athlete (as says the tattoos on his knuckles and Straight Edge across his chest). So therefore because Vince believes that Big men equal big PPV buy rates he will not get pushed as much as someone on the roids, (over 75% of the WWE locker room must be on them) so we have to sit through slow boring main events with 'Roid'tista et al.
Also I read a few months back that he was going out with one of the Diva's and she had a bad rep so maybe he's been tarred with the same brush.

I think that ECW just need more wrestlers and to back to being mor hardcore to be really succesful
