One would have to wonder the future of pro wrestling is. All these releases from the WWE can't all go to TNA. Maybe TNA would only be interested in a few of these former WWE employees, but I am wondering if this could be the oppertunity for some other promoter, or someone who would like to be one. I have a guess who might just take advantage. Maybe Hulk Hogan will consider being a promoter himself to start up another pro wrestling company, or maybe someone else be interested in doing it because it seems like to me all this talent who Vince McMahon can't afford would go to waste, and last thing the pro wrestling business needs is more former WWE wrestlers killing themselves. Just something to think about, but again I haven't heard much of TNA releases. It's always WWE kicking good talent to the cirb!

Add Hardcore Holly, which is a shame. I like to see him beat the sh*t out of those rookies.

WWE referee Mickey Henson and Matt Cappotelli have been released from their World Wrestling Entertainment contracts. Henson, who used to work in WCW as Mickie Jay, has been away on medical leave.
Cappotelli won his WWE contract on WWE Tough Enough season 3 on MTV (the same season that John Morrison won). He has been inactive since being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in 2006. Matt had the tumor removed in May 2007.

Freddie Prinze, Jr. is no longer part of the WWE creative team. The loss is not being looked at as a big deal as he did not contribute much although he was widely accepted by the workers and other creative team members.
Prinze, who worked under Michael Hayes on SmackDown, was hired by WWE back in July.
