The official WWE website has provided an update on Randy Orton after being involved in a motorcycle accident. According to the update, the accident occurred last night when he was riding his motorcycle near his home. While going around a sharp curve, on a steep hill, an oncoming car veered into his lane causing him to widen his turn. Orton's bike then struck a curb and was thrown just under 300 feet knocking him unconscious. When he came to he realized he had re-broken his collarbone.
Orton is quoted on the official WWE website, saying that if he was not wearing a helmet, he would have been killed. He also talks about his newborn daughter and how he has so much going through his head. Initial reports indicate that he will not require surgery, but the injury will set him back an additional three months before he can return to the ring

Randy needs to mature up. It was dumb for him to get something dangerous in the first place. I read something about him saying "He'll ride again" The smart thing would be for him to get rid of the motorcycle. I don't understand people who get injured like that, and are lucky to be still alive decide to go out to do it again. Just like my brother 2 years ago.
He broke his leg in 2 or 3 places. He was lucky to survive from a dirt bike wreck. Then 5 months later he was back on it and injured his foot on the other leg.
Randy having a lot going through his head after now having a new born daugther. It's simple. He should give it up!
If I was the WWE I would be mad at Randy. Now they gotta pay him for 3 extra months of him sitting at home, plus he has a job to do, and fans he let down by being too stupid in the head!

Randy Orton posted the following update on his forum regarding his motorcycle accident:
"i was ran off the road last night at 1030 by a car that had its hi beams on and was veering into m lane during a sharp turn a the top of a hill near my home. i had no choice but to crash, and was thrown 300 feet from the concrete block that sent me flying. i was traveling about 30 miles per hour. i'm lucky to be alive. i have some pretty severe skinned up areas such as my left knee right foot, and left shoulder trap. wwe. com should be posting that it wasn't 30 feet but 300 soon. i just called and biotch ed em out, for the typo. i was wearing a helmet, and if not for that i would have without a doubt been a goner. i see what the extent of my rebroken collarbone is tommorow. ill let you all know. the bike was a harley fat bob, and it was a rental. it is totaled.im happy im alive, and that the bike wasn't mine. all i could think about was my daughter and samantha. God was definetly watching over me!!

i can see BOTH ways with this
I agree with DR, to a point. It is a bit stupid. thats like HHH being told his leg is 50/50 (just after he did that injury) and him running around the block. It is stupid.
BUT, i read that he is acting as an 'ambasador type' as he is doing promotions and what not. which I strongly agree with, get him going around the country, keeps him outta trouble at home. lol
