Most Hardcore match you've seen on ECW? Help us relive some of the great ECW days.
As far as live, I saw them in Philadelphia once and they actually took the one match outside the arena into the streets of Philly, lol, hardcore stuff, we were like dam, maybe this is real or something, lol. That was the same night Sandman and Terry Funk had a barbwire match, lol.
I miss those ECW days, it's a shame their not around anymore.

i was watching wwe because that was the hard core wrestling in the late 90's Yeah right, WWE was 1/4 as Hardcore as ECW was. Barbwire matchs, New Jack's flying forks, Sandman's whiffle ball bat, Sabu and Rob Van Dam's triple super jump moves over the ring and into the crowd, etc. It's actually ashame that WWE stole so much from ECW, all those tables matches from the Dudleys for example, lol, even their wrestlers.

Sabu vs Terry Funk [Barbed Wire Match-Born To Be Wired]
Funk gets trapped in the barbed wire at the end and that is difficult to watch.
I'd also like to say the Taipei Deathmatch between Ian and Axl Rotten.
Any Tanaka/Awesome match is 'Hardcore'

I was at Bodyslams Arena in Reading PA. Tommy Dreamer fought Ron (or Don) Harris. The "arena" was actually an old warehouse. These two fought from the ring, into the crowd, into the concession stand, into the bathroom and out onto Route 222! They actually had to stop traffic so they could fight. At one point, Harris had Dreamer on his shoulder and he drove him head first into a school crossing sign. Dreamer eventually got the pin after giving Harris the Death Valley Driver onto a pile of pallets. Very awesome match!

I always liked when they took their matches outside the ring, into the crowd, outside to the streets, etc. Geez, they really used to put on a show.

Sabu/Funk in the barbed wire was probably the most hardcore match. But that bump that Sabu took from Benoit's overhead suplex was pretty damn hardcore.....you know...considering it broke sabu's neck.I have to give an honorable mention to Ian and Axl Rottens "Taipei Death Match" though.Taped fists dipped in broken glass would have to at least qualify foe "moderately hardcore" ...lol.

Lol, yeah I guess so, I never knew they had a match like that. That's pretty Extreme. Just like the final match in Bloodsport, lol.
