I had to go with Elway because the way he would always bounce back. After losing 3 SBs he still came back to win back to backs. Along with all the game winning drives the man was never out of a game no matter how much time was on the clock.

Elway all the way. Geez, the man made it to 5 Superbowls all by himself becaue he always had different players and was still able to get there, and win 2. The Comeback Kid. He had an arm of a Rifle Man and when he threw the football it was solid like a Cannon Ball.

I'm still kind of old school when it comes to NFL QBs. I've watched Unitas, Tarkenton, Baugh and so many others. Elway is the popular pick but I still gotta go with Joe Montana. Elway had a lot of comeback wins but so did Montana. Plus Joe's got more rings...that gets my vote.

Lol, well I don't know if Montana had many comeback wins considering they were always winning the games from the start, lol. Geez, if Elway had Jerry Rice to through too they would of broke every record in the book, lol. Roger Graig was no joke either, too bad Elway didn't have talent to surround him until the end of his career.

True. But if you watch the early Montana...early 80s...he didn't have much talent until 87. Took a few years.

I believe an argument could be made for Marino. The guy was the best QB to never win a Superbowl and he was never really blessed with alot of talent around him either. But he still managed to become on the NFLs greatest QBs. I also thought alot of Jim Kelly not just because Im a Bills fan but the guy was a pretty good QB who had some great recievers but sadly never brought home the ring.

Yeah Marino had an amazing arm and not talent, other than Mark Clayton to throw to. Elway I think had better players around him than Marino ever did. Good point, Scottingraham. Almost forgot about Dan....I don't know how.

Well Marino was great, and I think was in a similar spot as Elway for most of his career, the most obvious being they both never had a RB, then Elway finally got one in Terrell Davis and won Super Bowls, but still Elway got them to the Superbowl 3 times without Davis, while Marino never did (only once), and they had similar WRs too, Clayton and Duper were a great 1 2 punch, simliar to Mark Jackson and Vance Johnson.
Jim Kelly was good, but I don't think ever put up great All-Star stats. Did he? And he definitely had a team around him (offensively and defensively), lol.

Kelly was great but even as a Bills fan I will admit he wasnt at the same level of a Marino or Elway by no stretch. One reason I believe this is he had talent around him. Andre Reed, James Lofton, and Thruman Thomas on the offense. Bruce Smith, Darrell Talley, Cornelius Bennett, and others on defense. No reason the Bills should be 0-4 in the SB.

Very true. But the teams they faced in the last 3 were far superior to them and the scoreboard showed it. The Buffalo-Giants SB is still the greatest Super Bowl ever.

That's funny, he barely made the Hall of Fame, even Dan Marino was better than Troy, Steve Young too, lol. Troy Aikman was barely at the same level as Jim Kelly, and I don't even think he was.

troy was 2-0 vs kelly in super bowls and 2-1 vs young in nfc championships. he also has the highest qb rating in the post season. 3-0 over marino in rings. and what do you mean barely made the hall of fame? you are either in or not.
