Even though, I love my Bills players, I gotta go with Dick Butkus from the Bears. He played pure smash-mouth football. I think the best description of Butkus came from fellow Hall Of Famer Deacon Jones, who knows a few things about laying people out:
"Dick Butkus doesn't hit people to put them in the hospital. He hits them to put them in the cemetery!"
