Jesse Ventura & Adrian Adonis The East West Connection The Crusher & Dick The Bruiser Nice pick on the East-West Connection, that's cool your down with them too. Jesse and Adrian used to do some good promos together too. Former AWA Tag-Team Champs.

I think there should be more mention for Badd Company. They were'nt my favorite AWA team, but really they were the last great heel team to hold AWA tag titles. They were better than Kelly/Kininski,Rose/Somers, and the Wrecking Crew.Plus lets not forget we have them to thank for introducing us to the managment talents of Mr Diamond Dallas Page.Hard to believe that Tanaka and Diamond would simply go on to be the Orient Express in WWF and their manager would go on to hold the WCW World title on 3 occassions..lol.

Yeah, Badd Company was pretty good and big then. Actually when I first made this poll (before they updated it) there was only 8 options for poll choices on all the polls.
It is funny how some wrestlers/managers start out and later what they become (for better or worse) in other wrestling leagues.

Without a doubt, the Road Warriors. The 80s Road Warriors would kill any tag team today. I also picked the Road Warriors, but I believe the 80's Road Warriors would be beaten by the 90's Outsiders...but you did say "today" so you're OK. I agree with you. The Road Warriors possibly could be beaten by Outsiders. That would be an awesome match though.
Tag team wrestling today is nothing like yesteryear.

The Road Warriors of the 80's would destroy the Outsiders...we're talking about wrestling here...not the political strings that Hall & Nash pull. Besides you're talking about 2 guys in their prime (Warriors) against 2 guys in their 40's (Hall & Nash). I just don't see anything other than a Road Warriors annihilation in this one.

The Road Warriors were certainlt the team to beat in the AWA for a long time. But I remember the Freebirds pulling of that big upset against the Road Warriors. But then again a loss to the Freebirds proably shouldnt be called a upset.

Very true, Scott. The Freebirds were one of the best teams in tag-team history. The Hayes-Gordy-Roberts trio....Jimmy Garvin doesn't enter the equation.

I loved to watch the Freebirds especially their feud with the Von Erichs and the Road Warriors were classics IMO.

It's too bad we never could have seen the Road Warriors demolish the Von Erichs. But if the match took place in Texas, somehow the Von Erichs would win. Anywhere else, it would be the Road Warriors.
