i loved one night stand.
understood it without watchin ecw when it ran.
I think a wcw one off ppv would be bigger.
because it was a more popular show.
with a wcw v nwo
hoursemen v dungen

Would certainly draw a big buyrate as far as ppvs go. Bring in some of the other WCW stars who are not in action now and let wrestling fans see them again.

What matches would you like to see if they did a wcw one night stand?

(Hardcore Match) Mike Awesome vs Meng vs Bam Bam Bigelow vs Norman Smiley.

Anything to get the NWO back would be intresting to me. I hope they make a return somewhere be it WWE or TNA which TNA I think would be more likely a choice.

A NWO reunion now would seem like re-uniting the 4 Horsemen. It had its run, but its over. Most of the members are pushing 40 (some 50+), so it would seem like the old WCW nickname, Wheel Chair Wrestling, coming back to life.

Flair, Goldberg and Sting wold have to be in it. But Sting being with TNA, won't happen. Flair will be pushed as the premiere star. Luger, Arn, and of course Hogan. Hogan became synomanous with WCW in late 90s while Austin was WWF.

Anyone who is under contract to TNA or under a 'tender' contract couldn't perform. That means no Sting, Hall (he's still tendered...somehow), Nash, Scott Steiner, Goldberg (soon to be signed), Jarrett...a lot of the key players in the final years of WCW. With those guys under TNA's roof, the show would be a mjaor bomb.

Yeah it would put a big damper on the matches but I thimk if the time was taken some really good matches could still be made. Mike Awesome, Bam Bam, Buff Bagwell, Rick Steiner, Lance Storm, Billy Kidman, DDP, the Wall, Lex Luger, Srevie Ray, Piper, Warrior, Scott Hall, Ernest Miller, Randy Savage. Still some pretty good talent and match potential. Not what it would be if the major players werent under contract to TNA or WWE but still not to shabby.

There is big problems with some of those guys
Bam Bam - Retired and hasnt been in a ring in ages Buff Bagwell - In drug rehab Rick Steiner - Same as Bam the Wall - He died Lex Luger - Isnt he in jail or drug rehab Stevie Ray - Same as Bam Warrior - Even worse than Bam Scot Hall - Still contracted to TNA Ernest Miller - Sucks Randy Savage - Is hated by nearly everyone in the wrestling industry

Rick lives in Virginia I believe and only wrestles indy shows that are close to home. He's like Bam Bam, he's more concerned about being a dad than anything else. Savage is not hated by everyone, he's just mainly hated by Hogan....which isn't a bad thing. Hogan isn't very popular either.
