Does anyone remember when Stevie Ray sued Booker T for the rights to the "Harlem Heat" music/pyro/etc.? Booker T had to come out to the "Leave it to Beaver" theme song one week.  |

Yeah, I remember when he tried to do that, they could only play the Harlem Heat music if they were a team or something. Lol, never heard him come out to Leave it to Beaver, that would be funny though, probably better than most his matches too. |

Lol, sorry Dream, I was never big on Booker T or Dallas Page in WCW and couldn't stand when they had the Belts either because to me they weren't good enough to be the Heavyweight Champion. |

I'd rather have DDP or Booker T than David Arquette any day!

DDP to me was always a mid card talent and never deserved the WCW titles he won. As for Arquette that was the biggest joke Iv seen in wrestling to date well next to Tank Abbott moving to wrestling.

I lost a lot of respect for WCW when Arquette won the belt. New directions are needed in wrestling....but not the stupid direction.

I never understood that either and the fact that they could have inserted a another capable and deserving WCW wrestler in that place really baffled me alot. I mean I know that I always considered DDP as a mid-carder but I would have much rather seen him stay the champ than Arquette winning.

I thought Lex Luger had the worst theme music, this was before his Total Package Days, everytime I would hear that music it got on my nerves. I was never a Lex Luger fan to begin with anyway and this counts when Miss Elizabeth even managed him!!

Never liked the fact they had Elizabeth managing Lex because I always liked her and never liked Lex very much.

Word is it was either Tony Schiavone or Mike Tenay that pitched the idea of Arquette winning the title. WCW was promoting the Ready To Rumble movie at the time and they thought it would be cute to have the star of the film win the world championship because it would get the mainstream media talking. Sadly, the only thing it did was piss a bunch of people off and make wrestling look even more foolish. Apparently, Arquette even thought it was stupid. The only good thing that came out of him working with WCW was that he gave his earnings to I believe the families of and/or charities for Owen Hart and Brian Pillman.
