Well that dream is history, Scott. Rick is basically retired...unless TNA can book a show in northern Virginia, which is basically the only area he works now, he won't wrestle. He likes doing indy bookings mainly so he can be close to his children. Scott's solo...no more Steiners...unless it's a one-night-only deal. Hmm, that's ashame. But I respect that if Rick wants to be near his kids more. Looks like it's Big Poppa Pump against the world, and that's the way I like it, lol.

Actually I got my location wrong. According to Dave Meltzer at the Wrestling Observer, Rick Steiner was trying to run for a position on the Cherokee County, Georgia School Board when he was disqualified from the election because he didn't register under his real name (Robert Rechsteiner). He's disqualified from the primaries but has already started a letter-writing campaign to get him on the November ballot as an independent.

I read on Scott Steiners censor that Ricks been spending time with his family and working shows in Japan recently. But you are right Alpha he was running for a Cherokee County school board position as well.
