Hogan gets too much bad press, if it weren't for him then wrestling would not have become as mainstream as it is today. He's not solely responsible for the success of the WWF in the 80's but he along with Vince McMahon were the main players. If anyone else could have done a better job than Hogan then i'm sure Vince would have used them as the flagship of the company instead, as they would have made him more money. How do you know that 'if it weren't for hogan then wrestling would not have become as mainstream as it is today". this is a 50/50 question. You Just Don't Know. Like the other questions on the top of the list "What IF Eric Bischoff bought WCW before Vince did". You Just DONT KNOW..

When you got big money in front of you, you keep it sweet. That's why Hogan got his own way, and why shouldnt he? sounds to me like he had his ideas, pitched his ideas, and usually got his own way, fairplay to him if he got that power, nobody gives you that power you earn it. Anything he did in WCW is their own fault, if you give somebody COMPLETE creative control what do you expect?

Its complete BS if ya ask me. He thinks he is still top stuff, he was in his day but his day aint here now.
