Now that Jim Ross is gone and Joey Styles is here to stay who do you like better doing commentary?

I'm not sure, actually I was never big on Jim Ross and I haven't really watched a whole Raw with Joey Styles yet. Styles was great in ECW no doubt though. "Oh my God!!!"

JR was getting a bit old and stale. He's got a lot of strange southern sayings, but miscalling moves or not even trying to tell the name of a move is so annoting. As a commentator Joey is the total package. He sells the moves for the wrestlers, he has an extensive knowledge of move names, link wrestling transisions, and he even checks up on the history of and between wrestlers.

Jim Ross, without a doubt. He was, and will always be (in my mind), the voice of RAW. It was crappy how he got booted from that seat, but I would never hold that against Joey Styles. Joey is an amazing announcer, proven by the fact that he called ECW shows by himself for *eight years*. That's unheard of, and I don't think it'll EVER be done again. I love his voice, his personality, his honesty...but he's got nothin' on good ole' JR.

Yeah Wrestling Chick Joey Styles is amazing, and to think he did ECW by his self, kinda forgot about that, respect, you gotta be good to pull that off, lol.

both Jim Ross and Joey Styles are good but i have to say i like Jim Ross more because not only could he call the action he had alot of wrestling knowlege like who did what move first LOL etc ...

I'd like to see Styles and Ross together. Get rid of the King. Now there's the answer. JR's signature personality with Styles' know-how... but then you have two face announcers. You know what that doesn't matter. They'd make a hell of a team anyway. |

Gotta go with JR on this one. He brings energy to the commentating. JR is so passionate about the business and it shows through in his commentating and I like that. I'd pick JR any day. |
